Every Thursday night is Ladies' Night at the Long Branch Saloon. This Ladies' Night ain't your average Ladies' Night--we don't get half-price drinks, buy one get one free appetizers, or a waiver of the cover charge, oh no, that's small potatoes. At the Long Branch Saloon, ladies get free dinner!
Kate and I went last night for the second time. On my first visit, I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup, and my ladyfriends mostly got cajun chicken with cornbread stuffing. Last night Kate and I both had giant plates of spaghetti and meatballs. FREE. I love Alaska.

wow, free dinner! that's awesome! is it crowded? here, ladies night is definitely cheap(er) liquor.
